The week that Penn State football fans have been waiting for is finally here. The 2025 White Out Game kicks off on Saturday at 7:30 against the Oregon Ducks. Head coach James Franklin spoke to the media on Monday afternoon to kick off game week for the biggest game on the college football calendar this weekend. We're recapping his comments on today's show and discussing the critical details and context behind his words. Reporter Nate Bauer joins the show to discuss that in "Between the Lines." We'll also give our first of three previews for the upcoming game, and then finish the show by discussing the Penn State offense's work to this point one more time in our bye week checkup with Bauer.
Join the show live at 10 a.m. on YouTube to discuss the upcoming game! Subscribe to the Blue White Illustrated YouTube channel and enable notifications. Between the Lines
Franklin spoke with the media for roughly 40 minutes yesterday to discuss his team's progress through the bye week and his thoughts about the Oregon Ducks. Today, we'll discuss his comments and what fans took from them versus what they may actually mean. We'll dissect his comments about Nick Singleton and the Penn State running game, saving plays for Oregon, and the team's need to start fast.
Penn State vs Oregon: White Out Preview
Today's main attraction is our breakdown of the upcoming game. Earlier this week, we outlined where Oregon can test Penn State with their speed, veteran improvement on defense, and at quarterback. Now, we're breaking down where Penn State can strike back and make plays. We'll outline the key areas where the Lions have an advantage on offense and defense in the upcoming game. Tune in to find out what we think and give us your thoughts in the live chat!
Bye week check up: offense
Of course, it wouldn't be a Penn State game without discussing the Nittany Lions' offense through three weeks and how the team performed in the non-conference season. We'll conclude the show by discussing what we've learned and how it applies to the upcoming game.
